made to locate one such statue. If this can be done I should
be grateful if consideration could be given to the possibility
of making castings of the missing parts and forwarding them to
Hong Kong or, alternatively, of supplying moulds with which the
necessary castings could be made in this Colony.

Should it not prove possible for either castings or
moulds to be supplied, the artist's designs, if they are still
available, could be forwarded to me together with designs and
descriptions of the Crown, the Orb and Sceptre, and the heraldic
panels, which could no doubt be furnished by the College of Heralds.
But in view of the very considerable technical difficulties which
would be involved in the production of three-dimensional castings
from drawings and descriptions I should be grateful if in the
first place every effort might be made to supply the necessary
replacements in the manner suggested in paragraph four above.
